1952年被推薦為一水會會員成員獲得第八屆日展特選朝倉獎
1980年舉辦“中谷龍一展”（橫濱市民畫廊）
1984 參加橫濱-上海交流展
1998 獲得橫濱文化獎 日展顧問 一水會指導委員會成員
